AirPair UpMast Radio Switch
The AirPair configuration with the UpMast Radio Switch (UMRS) provides 1+1 radio protection using a single modem. The UMRS switch offers protection for radio failures, by enabling a stand-by radio with a two-second switchover time. This configuration provides increased redundancy with significant savings over a fully redundant link. It is especially useful to reduce mean time to repair in situations where radios are installed in hard to climb to places.
