AirPair Power Split Radio Mount
Using a single antenna and link license, AirPair can be configured with a Power Split Radio Mount (PSRM) to provide 1+1 radio redundancy. The PSRM is mounted to a single antenna and two AirPair radios are connected to the PSRM, configured in the same polarization. Each AirPair radio is connected to the same AirPair modems using the UpMast Radio Switch (UMRS) to achieve equipment redundancy. This configuration provides increased redundancy with significant savings over a fully redundant link. This configuration is also useful to reduce mean time to repair in situations where radios and modems are installed in hard to climb to places.
